The opinion of some young researchers drawn from different universities and disciplinary fields.
They participated to the CSR school during their doctoral programme, and joined further CSR activities, sharing their experience as CSR testimonials.

Paolo, post-doctoral fellow at the University of Brescia (Italy):
«In addition to a high level training programme, the “CSR method” allowed me to become more aware on the value of relationship as the base for a meaningful communication. The CSR school, according to me, is a concrete experience for learning this approach to communication».

Giada: post-doctoral fellow at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli of Rome (Italy):
«The CSR school offered me the opportunity for a real understanding of the importance of the other in communication. This implies to resize our ego, so much (even too much) represented in the current society.

I have the feeling that this new awareness towards the other, slowly and radically changed my perspective on communication of scientific research, and far more broadly, in everyday life.
According to me, PhD students are the best target for the CSR school, as they are in a crucial step of their personal and professional growth. At the end of the doctoral programme, in fact, they will be asked to reach a level of awareness and autonomy in research, which allows them to face either the academic or the business world, in addition to the scientific community.
The CSR school taught me the rules, but, above all, it provided me the tools for approaching these contexts. Furthermore, the school allowed me to understand and to choice how, when, and how much using these tools, giving me the freedom to fail».

Simone, young researcher in a R&D company of Brescia (Italy):
«I participated to several CSR activities; all of them allowed me to brush off some certainty and to experience the taste of rebuilding myself».

Nicola, young researcher in a R&D company of Bologna (Italy):
«CSR training is, according to me, crucial for learning communication of scientific research. Furthermore, either the school, or the course, are
unique experiences of life. Both of them helped me a lot, even in working world».

Alessio, PhD, Assistant Professor, SR-Tiget, San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy, Milan (Italy):
«According to me, a PhD student should participate to the CSR training to better understand the meaning and objectives of communication and receive “seeds of dialogue”».
